Move Personal Tracking with Notes & Status Data

Overview
Notes & Status Data is an advanced CSV tool for moving the personal tracking on one collection. For a complete, restorable copy of 5585, use Full App Backup instead.
Open Collection Tools, then select Notes & Status Data.
What this tool moves
This tool works with the information you add to your own collection:
- Notes
- Collection Status
- Wishlist Priority
It does not move or change the cards or items themselves, their images, template details, order, active state, or the collection’s structure.
Export personal tracking
Select Export Data, then choose whether to Share / Send File or Save To Folder. 5585 creates a CSV named for the current group and collection.
Only active cards or items with at least one saved note, status, or wishlist priority are included. Empty tracking records are left out.
Use this export when you need a portable copy of one collection’s personal tracking, or when you plan to restore that tracking after an intentional template rebuild.
Import personal tracking
Select Import Data, then choose a previously exported CSV.
Normally, 5585 restores data only when a row’s full CardID matches an active card or item in the current collection. Rows with no matching active CardID are skipped, and 5585 reports the matched and skipped counts after the import.
An imported row replaces the current note, collection status, and wishlist priority on its matching card or item. If you edit the CSV before importing, an empty value in one of those fields clears that value on the matching row.
Before importing, check that you selected the intended collection and CSV.
Restore data after rebuilding a template
If a CSV comes from a different template family, 5585 may offer Match
Template Row Keys. This is for a deliberate template rebuild where equivalent
rows still use the same row keys, such as c001.
The review shows how many rows can be restored, how many will be skipped, and whether any current notes, statuses, or priorities will be replaced.
You can:
- Select View Details to inspect each matched or skipped row
- Select Match Row Keys to restore the matching rows
- Select Exact IDs Only to use only full CardID matches
- Select Cancel to leave the collection unchanged
Matching template row keys restores only your personal tracking. It does not add, remove, or modify cards or items.
